I like to describe songwriting as my favorite kind of puzzle because it requires putting together different pieces - that sometimes fit and sometimes don’t - to make one final, complete picture. Now to be honest, I don’t really care for the kinds of puzzles that clutter tabletops, but I do love writing songs.
